The National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS-National) has announced plans for the 2025 Ikorodu Division Students’ Fair & Summit, a major intellectual and cultural convergence aimed at preparing young minds for a knowledge-driven, technology-powered future. The event is scheduled for November 27 at the 500-Seater Hall of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).
With the theme “Harnessing Knowledge for a Sustainable Future: Exploring Education, Technology, and Culture,” this year’s summit is positioned as a unifying platform to ignite fresh ideas, equip students with relevant skills, and strengthen academic and cultural excellence across the division.
In an official statement to The NewsExtremists, the Planning Committee’s Public Relations Officer, Comr. Anjorin Abdulwarith Adeniyi, described the summit as “bigger than an event—it’s a movement designed to inspire, unite, and empower students across Ikorodu Division.”
The committee confirmed two notable keynote speakers: Mayor Deen Sanwoola, Executive Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Parks Authority, and Dr. Olumide Metilelu, Associate Professor at LASUSTECH, both expected to deliver strategic insights on education, innovation and youth development.

Highlights of the programme include panel discussions, exhibitions, cultural showcases, networking opportunities, and a business pitch segment curated to stimulate creativity, collaboration and enterprise among participating students.
Organisers have urged secondary and tertiary institutions in the division to mobilise widely, describing the summit as a timely opportunity for students to connect with industry thought leaders, amplify their voices and chart a collective path toward a sustainable future.
As preparations heighten, organisers say the summit will not only shape conversations but also inspire a generation ready to lead with knowledge, confidence and cultural pride.
